Way back in January one of my “get it done” items involved a whole bunch of UFO 6 inch blocks. The original plan was no longer in play, I needed to figure out what to do with these Kansas Troubles 9 patch and square in a square blocks.
So now I’m thinking a medallion type quilt with those older blocks as the border. The center block is from Quiltmaker March April 2012.
Yesterday I made lots of flying geese using Quilt in a Day (Eleanor Burns) template…my favorite method when one needs a lot of flying geese. Not only are they quick since they are assembled 4 at a time, but they are beautifully accurate. Sharp points and true size!
