Getting it Done and the UFO list for 2013

From the list below I am picking 2 that I really want to complete in the month of January.

1.  Pick Up Sticks just needs binding.  It is cut but not joined…a fairly quick finish.

2.  Arrowhead in Evening Mist has only a few blocks left to piece.  This needs to be laid out on the wall to get it together.

3.  Continue working on Easy Street.  I am not happy with one color choice and I am NOT going to change it.  Moving ahead, but not as excited about it.

4.  Search for layouts for those Spool blocks and the 9 patches.  Some kind of  alternate block…make a decision and move forward.

 Remaining from 2012:

Baby flannel

Bright and Brickssnowman tablerunner

Spools

9 patch treat

Hunters Star (cream and red)

Star Formations (blue and gold)

Christmas tablerunner….just found in Christmas bin!

New starts that didn’t get finished…UFOs on January 1, 2013

Arrowhead in Evening mist

One block wonder

Pick up Sticks

Easy Street

Jacobs ladder scrappy

Yet another use it all

For a total of 13.  Maybe 12 if I get that tablerunner finished….it just needs the hand work.

A nice list, although most of the projects are large.  Only  two small quilts.  Another that only needs the binding machined on and then hand finished.  7 are just a bunch of blocks…..one needs the design wall as it has to be laid out to sash.    Two of the seven are getting pretty long in the tooth because now that the blocks are done I have no clue how I want to finish them.  Spools and 9 patch treat are from the Kansas Troubles line of fabrics that I was crazy about several years ago.  These two projects are both 6 inch blocks…..lots of them…..all sort of darkish.   Most all of these are stalled because they are not promised or intended for anyone…..I do so much better on kid quilts.

OK….I’ve got my plan for January…..check out Judy’s place for more great ambitions.
