Stash Report 10-28-2012

I have a finished quilt so there is stash to report !  It has been slow going since we’ve taken several road trips.

The finished quilt is one from Love of Quilting…part of the old “cutting bee” series, although it is no longer called that.  This was a fun and fast project with a few stalls along the way.  Since it was all scraps I am guessing at yardage…..even the binding was odds and ends from the leftover binding bin.

Acquired since last report…..0

Acquired YTD……184.75 yds

Used since last report……10.5 yds

Used YTD……173.25 yds

Net for 2012…….11.50 yds

Several other projects are nearing completion so if I can just keep away from shopping I might end in the black!

The Red Snappers are installed, but I’ve had a few difficulties.  I think once they loosen up and I get the idea of how much to hang over before snapping them down they will be a time saver!  I loaded a really old and quite ugly small quilt  yesterday….one more out of the pile!

Check out more stash reports at Judy’s Patchwork Times.

  1. Congrats on the finish. It’s a beautiful quilt. I wish you lots of successful stash busting so you can fiinish in the black.

You will love your “red snappers” once you get use to them. Loading a quilt in just a few minutes is wonderful. I only leave about 1/2 inch of fabric showing with mine. I really like the scrappiness of your quilt. Thanks for sharing.
