Stash Report July 29, 2012

Big changes since my last report!  We came home from vacation and then took off again for a long week-end so my last report was way back ….July 1st!

Our vacation took us through Paducah KY, and a stop at both Hancock’s of Paducah and Quilt in a Day.  I really did very well…did you know QIAD has most fabric for $5.00 a yard!……except for the sale stuff, that was $3.00.  I found some great borders there.  Hancock’s of Paducah is blender heaven!  Oh they have everything, but they have a big assortment of Fusions which is my very favorite “solid”.   It is almost sensory overload…..not to worry, I over came and shopped hard in my allotted time.

I also completed 3 quilts!  2 nice sized UFOs….one from 1997 my very oldest,  and a youth bed quilt for GGS Ivan.  There are pictures in the posts…..just look back a post or two…over on the right there are links.

So, here are my numbers:

Acquired  this year…..107 yds

Added since last report……39 1/2 yards

Acquired YTD……..146 1/2 yards

Used this year…..105 1/2 yards

Used since last report 31 1/4 yards

Brown on point 12 yards, Ivan’s Cars quilt  5.25yards, Stack & Whack 13.5 yards (not counting all the fabric ripped and replaced during the 15 years of construction)     Gave neighbor 2 fat quarters …..1/2 yard

Net  YTD……9 3/4 yards…….

Not so bad ….could have been worse…..

Lets go to Judy’s new blog and see how everyone else did…..

Awesome numbers! Inspring to see that one can buy fabric and then really use it!! Sounds like you had a great month of traveling.
