I’ve finished quilting and binding one UFO, I found another oldie lurking under the Long arm, and this morning I’ve attached the binding on a newer start. I have been pretty busy.
The UFO is this months challenge on Judy’s Patchwork Times. # 12 is the string quilt I started last fall then totally lost interest once Orca Bay was under way. It is not beautiful, but it will be a warm hug for someone.
There are more pictures of Strings here…..
The next one nearing completion is the Double Spools that I started in late May. I have the binding attached, so will have some hand work to do in the evenings. This one got its start here:
No finished picture of it just yet.
So with those two out of the way, the design wall was empty for about a day, then another string block project came along. This was last weeks design wall, too, but I have added a few more blocks.
I’m hoping to get the 9 patch blocks finished soon so that this one will get assembled before the 4th of July….they’re all cut up and ready to go.
After looking at the picture I’m thinking this one needs sashing…..
