Stash Report—March 4, 2012

Things are looking a little better since I haven’t spent any time shopping.  It is hard going as I have gotten so many wonderful e-mails and links to fabulous fabric.  This week I spent on the PC in my sewing studio.  I have more RAM coming soon.

So  here’s the break out…..

Used this week    12.25  (finished Pinwheels)

Used year to date    24.75

Bought this week……0

Bought year to date      42.50

Net used     + 17.75

Still more in than out, but Orca Bay is close to the finish line!

  1. My idea of stash reporting is to renew my stash. Use up some of the older “not so special anymore” fabrics. I feel great when I piece a scrap quilt–which is silly–because I have so much YARDAGE! I love the pinwheel quilt–I have the book on my “to buy” list.

That’s wonderful usage for the week Cheryl! A couple of such good weeks and you will be well in the black. I was just ogling some lovely batiks from the Hancock of Paducah website and after a bit, I resolutely closed that window! I really have to buy only when I need something for a project and not at other times – this is till I can use up some of what I have. There’s no room in my sewing room for more!

Keep up the good work. Soon you will be in the black.

Well, I will bet that you used some of the old stash along with the new stash. So really you are just refreshing your stash. Don’t want it to get too stale!
